Plate and pipe beveling machine is used for making beveled edges on metal . A plate bevelling machine is designed to cut, grind and remove material from flat surfaces. It cuts angles at different angles on the edges of metal components. The result is the removal or cutting of parallel lines by grinding. It also removes material from connecting rows between two portions of a pipe, tube, or vessel. The beveling process provides a smoother transition between two sides of a long part that must fit together in close tolerance. Example: A steel pipe connection with an angle-cut end would receive lubricant through holes in it inside surfaces so that it slides smoothly along the outside surface of an internal flange and makes tight contact with an angle-flanged fitting or any other equipment intended for use with it.

Stationary Machine
The SBM 500 – stationary beveling machine is a versatile tool for the production of high-quality plate bevels up to 1.5 m long and with a width of up to a maximum of 60 mm. It is fitted with two spindles, one for the upper, and one for the lower cutter. The spindle speed can be continuously adjusted from 0 to 2,000 rpm and the feed rate from 0 to 120 mm per minute. This ensures that the machine can process different materials depending on their hardness. The 3D contact wheel control ensures proper workpiece alignment about milling head.
